Leslie Rockitter is a Writer/Producer for Television promos and resides in Los Angeles, CA.

She began her career as a copywriter for an advertising agency.

In 1996 she joined Radio Disney where she developed regional and national promotional programs for kids and advertisers.

Notable programs include: “The Bee-Safe Program” – a national child and abuse and abduction prevention program and “It’s An Up Thing to Read” – a child literacy program for children ages K-6.

In 2001, Leslie decided to take her promotional and marketing experience to the world of television, and has been writing and producing promos for syndicated shows ever since.

She got her inspiration for Chester, The Water Loving, Pool Hopping, Salad Eating, St. Bernard Dog from her best friend’s three large and furry dogs.

Leslie is currently working on the second installment of the “Chester” series.
